Co2re CO2 Fractional Skin Resurfacing Laser

Scars, discoloration, wrinkles, skin laxity, or skin damage caused by sun exposure.

With up to seven modes to treat a variety of skin issues, the Co2re is one of the most effective laser treatments available. It features a fractional dual laser system that can be adjusted to penetrate the skin at both superficial and deep levels simultaneously, allowing for a more precise, targeted treatment that maintains the highest efficacy while requiring less downtime.

Treating a fraction of skin at a time, the Co2re laser beams create millions of tiny penetrations into your skin to stimulate your body to heal itself by generating new and healthy cells. The depth of laser penetration determines the degree of treatment.

During the treatment itself, you can expect some moderate discomfort, but the anesthetic applied prior to the procedure typically makes any discomfort very tolerable. You can also expect a temporary sensation similar to sunburn to last for several hours after your visit.

Generally, patients experience significant improvement after only one co2re treatment, particularly with age spots and uneven skin texture. This includes improved skin tone and a diminishment in fine lines and wrinkles. In the days after the treatment, expect your skin to look smoother and softer as you experience a natural exfoliation process of seven to ten days while the dead skin peels away from the treatment area.

Secret Fractional Radio Frequency (RF) Micro-Needling

Fine lines/wrinkles, photoaging, scarring/acne scars, stretch marks.

Secret RF is designed to stimulate and remodel collagen and induce dermal remodeling by applying precisely controlled radio-frequency energy directly into various depths of skin, from 0.5–3.5 mm deep. Using minimally invasive micro-needles, the procedure offers an extremely targeted and customized treatment with minimized stress to the epidermis and reduced patient downtime.

Depending on the depth of the condition being treated, Dr. Sullivan will tailor the treatment strength to achieve the desired results. Because the treatment is so customizable, results similar to laser can be achieved with significantly reduced downtime.

Patients generally see immediate tightening and improvement in skin tone. The treatments result in collagen formation over a four-to-six-week period with subsequent improvement in wrinkles and/or scaring. The normal treatment course is three to four treatments spaced a month apart.

Thread Lifts (Nova Threads / PDO Threads®)

Ideal if you have:
Loss of collagen in the skin and face, particularly in the neck, jawline or cheeks, resulting in skin that appears to sag or lack firmness.

PDO Absorbable Threads® are a synthetic surgical suture composed of polydioxanone, the same material used in surgeries, that is completely absorbed by the skin. Threads made from PDO are injected into the skin in two types of procedures. The first involves injecting a net-like mesh under the skin that serves as a foundation for new collagen production. The second technique involves using barbed PDO threads that provide a grip underneath the skin. The sutures are then pulled in either one or two directions for instant skin repositioning. The second technique instantly tightens sagging skin and both techniques stimulate collagen production over time.

Both procedures result in the rebuilding of collagen, which gives the skin a secure, natural-looking lift. Use of the mesh tightens the skin from within, without any drastic change. Use of the second technique produces more dramatic and immediate results with noticeable tightening of lax skin; over the next six months, the procedure continues stimulating collagen formation.

Vampire Face Lift / Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Loss of skin firmness, fine lines, poor skin tone.

Based on research showing that platelets are a rich source of growth-factors that can stimulate cell growth and collagen production, PRP therapy employs high concentrations of platelets from your own blood to help promote collagen formation and epithelial rejuvenation.

During your treatment, Dr. Sullivan will draw your blood and concentrate it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets-and-growth-factor-rich plasma from the blood. The platelet-enriched plasma is then injected into the face where collagen loss has occurred. You may experience a mild feeling of pressure at the injection site, but otherwise, the treatment has virtually no side-effects. Dr. Sullivan administers the treatments monthly for three months to four months; touch ups may then be performed every six months. Your injection schedule will depend on your age as well as your genetics.

Patients generally see an improvement after three months of ongoing treatment. After that time, patients can expect significant improvement in collagen production and epithelial brightness.
